Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago and Minneapolis, I knew I wanted to get out of the midwest to experience living somewhere new. That led me to Fordham in New York City where I got right into learning the city and interning freshman year. I’ve always loved to keep busy: in high school, I swam varsity for four years while figure skating and teaching swim lessons on the side. Now, I enjoy exploring my Chelsea neighborhood, working out, cooking, and trying out new restaurants with friends. I love to let my creative juices flow by painting, sewing, and continuing to decorate my *first* Manhattan apartment. Traveling is also something that I always have and continue to enjoy. What keeps me hopping on a plane (when it’s safe) is visiting another place in the world, experiencing their culture, and better understanding different points of view.
